Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide occupational therapy services to elementary school students within a contract role located in Lexington Park, MD. This position is designed for a licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings, dedicated to supporting the developmental and functional needs of young learners in an educational environment.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions to students in an elementary school setting
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct assessments and monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state licensing requirements
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a supportive educational atmosphere
Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently
Location and Schedule:
- Position based in an elementary school in Lexington Park, MD
- Monday through Friday, approximately 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM
- Contract duration: ASAP start through June 9th
